演讲嘉宾概述

Ying Shi, director of Green & Low-Carbon Tech. R&D Department of China Telecom Research Institute. She has long conducted research on ICT green development strategies, energy efficiency of communication equipment and infrastructure, as well as the R&D of high-efficiency energy-saving technologies for communication systems. Active in standardization work for sustainable development in communications, she currently serves as Vice-Chair of ITU-T SG5 WP2 Environmental efficiency, e-waste, circularity and sustainable ICT networks, Chair of WBBA WG3 Environmental Sustainability, Vice-Chair of CCSA Special Task Group 2 Energy saving and comprehensive utilization of communication equipment. She also leads a team to help China Telecom to develop a climate action roadmap, in order to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the near future.
